You’ll notice that the last 4 photos are all completely different looks. They were shot within minutes of each other and I had absolutely no idea what the final images would look like when I shot them. This is par for the course for me. I’m pretty much incapable of pre-visualization. It stresses me the fuck out because I feel like I should be able to, at least on occasion, be able to know what a shot will look like before I even pick up the camera. It simply doesn’t work like that for me though.

I’ve known this forever but it still damn near gives me an anxiety attack before every shoot. Every time! Of course, every time I pick up the camera and actually start shooting the anxiety melts away and I start having fun. Then after the shoot it’s time to start stressing out about how I want them to look finished. Never ending cycle:)
